Mehdi Jahangiri founder of Yas Charity and founder of Tourism Financial Group, is committed to providing a platform for the growth and promotion of entrepreneurship and employment by providing comprehensive support for entrepreneurship and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship. In the late 1990s, the group had fewer than 20 employees. In the early 2000s, the group’s membership grew to 500 people. In 2008, approximately 3,000 people were employed in the group’s various companies and holdings. In 2016, about 3,700 human capital joined the group, and the number of members reached over 10,000 by the end of the year. During this period, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a difficult point in attracting human resources in the Tourism Financial Group, and the group was able to maintain its situation without layoffs and to help the family economy. At the beginning of 2024, by overcoming the global impact of COVID-19 in shrinking the size of the domestic and foreign economy and taking advantage of collective wisdom and cutting-edge technologies, the group set its sights on business development programs and increasing its subsidiaries. It chose goal setting for growth and compensation as its mission and targeted a development capacity of up to 50% and reaching a family of 50,000.

To promote self-employment and support Iran’s monetary and financial market, four companies of this group, namely Tourism Bank, Tourism Semega, Negin, and Loghman, are currently listed on the over-the-counter market and are actively traded among market participants. With the planned programming, the number of these companies will increase.
